Dated around 1925.
This is the rare example with all foundry stampings from Contenot-Lelievre.
Signed : Colin George to the side of the lower drape, with two numbers on the base, 10 on the rear and number  on the left side of the base.
Hé is also stampt on the front, "Finnigans London" and on the backside "Made in France".
Cast in bronze and than silver plated.
The mascot depicting the mythical figure of Icaris standing on a rock, his arms outstretched with wings attached, ready to fly.
Its design was based on a monument in Paris to the famous Brazillian flyer named Santos Dumont.
The Farman Company adopted the image because of the early associations with aircraft manufacturing.
